LG KG920

LG have announced the new LG KG920 mobile phone, which comes fully-loaded with a 5 megapixel camera. Although LG have released other mobile phones with similarly-high megapixel cameras, the KG920 is aimed squarely at Sony Ericsson's CyberShot phones, focusing heavily on the quality of the pictures it can take. Details and more pictures of the LG KG920 after the jump.
Update - you can buy the LG KG920 now in the UK from e2Save (Carphone Warehouse's cheaper online store).

The LG KG920 comes with a 5 megapixel camera with magnesium flash. Camera-specific features include white balance adjustment, ISO settings of 100, 200 or 400, and red eye reduction. Pictures can be taken at a resolution of up to 2,592x1,944, giving super-clear 6"x8" prints at 300dpi. The KG920 supports miniSd cards of up to 1GB in size. As you can see (below), the pictures are very good, although whether they're as good as Sony Ericsson's CyberShot phones we'll have to wait and see. Being a

Korean phone, though, LG aren't content with just adding a decent camera to the phone, and so the KG920 also comes with an MP3 player and 30fps video camera. It also has a nifty form factor, with the camera lens swivelling seperately from the screen, enabling the user to take self portraits or other pictures from unusual angles. Expect the LG KG920 to be available only in Korea initially, but with Sony

Ericsson pushing its Cybershot phones hard, it shouldn't be too long before the KG920 or a phone of similar qualities makes its way to markets around the world. Update - you can buy the LG KG920 now in the UK from e2Save (Carphone Warehouse's cheaper online store). A 5 megapixel cameraphone in your sweaty palms today...what are you waiting for?!
